About Me
In the past several years, Cari has orchestrated the Thane of Cawdor's demise, hunted Jack the Ripper, butled in a Play that went Wrong, and pirated on the waters off the coast of Boston, among other theatrical adventures. Cari's 14 years of classical dance training often comes in handy onstage, as does her recent SAFD certification in stage combat.
By night an avid thespian, by day Cari is an English professor. She particularly enjoys teaching and studying fairy tales, adaptations across American media, and how stage combat contributes to narratives.

Haunted Histories: Condemned
Oct 16-18, 2025
The courtyard is haunted... again.
You came to Salem to enjoy the Halloween season, but have you enjoyed yourself a little too much? Enter a prison existing in liminal space, holding murderers, cult leaders and madmen. Tonight you will find yourself “locked” in the courtyard until sunrise, unless you can assist the Warden to find a crucial piece of evidence to tie a murderer to the most dastardly of crimes, which took place steps away from where you stand...
Houses featured in this program include the Gardner-Pingree House (1806), John Ward House (1684), Quaker Meeting House (about 1688) and Derby–Beebe Summer House (1799).

A King and No King, Nov 2025
A King and No King is a Jacobean tragicomedy from 1619. The A plot involves a king who returns victorious from a long war and sees his grown up sister, and oh no! She’s super hot! And oh no! She is equally into him! But don’t worry, everything ends happily and legally. The B plot involves the conquered prince who is brought to marry the princess, but who is already promised to his true love. The C plot involves a cowardly Captain who has accidentally and unwillingly acquired a reputation for valor. Hijinks ensue.
